Breathwork for Trauma

Painful and traumatic experiences can lodge themselves in the body and the psyche. Breathwork is an active meditation using a two-part breathing which facilitates the release of energy and emotions from the body that are detrimental to your health and well-being. Through the breath, you will release tension, gain mental clarity, and move the body out of the fight-flight-or-freeze response and into a restorative rest-and-digest state, boosting the immune system and allowing the body to heal.

Laura uses a combination of guided visualization, the breath and Reiki to coax the body into a deeply relaxed and open state conducive to healing. Pain and trauma are pulled up and safely shed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This releases endorphins and enables the letting go of traumatic events, negative thought patterns and assists in healing traumatic wounds.

During this workshop, you will leave behind the layers that no longer serve you. You will shed the pain holding you back, allowing your true essence to shine through.

* Please wear comfortable clothes and have a journal and something to write with.
