Bhajan Akal leads the ancient practice of Calm Abiding meditation. Calm Abiding is a simple beautiful ancient Buddhist practice that steadies, composes, unifies, and concentrates the mind. Generally calm abiding is defined as “relying on a correct referent, the mind rest one pointedly”. This practice enables you to see, safely explore, and discern formations.

When our mind is undisturbed by any concept that might arise, the natural joy and clarity of the mind will dawn.

Participants will be introduced into three ways of meditating: placing the mind using support, placing the mind without using support, and placing the mind on the essential nature itself.
