Community Acupuncture: Collective Zen

December 8  |  2:30 – 4:30 PM  |  $39
** 2 people can schedule every 20 minutes **

You are invited to experience the healing benefits of Acupuncture in a community setting. Acupuncture is a system of Chinese Medicine that seeks to unblock physical and energetic blockages, while providing tangible symptomatic relief and blissful relaxation. Though Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years, modern clinical research has shown Acupuncture to be useful for a variety of health concerns including pain, stress, anxiety, depression, fertility, digestive concerns, chronic fatigue, addiction, the common cold, and so much more.

Community Acupuncture takes place in our group class room, where patients lie down in comfortable zero-gravity reclining chairs and massage tables, and enjoy the soothing ambiance of Heal Haus, while receiving an Acupuncture treatment. The Community Acupuncture model involves several people being treated at the same time. This allows for care to be more accessible, affordable, and communal. Sessions are booked in 20 minute increments, allowing for about 40 minutes total to be spent in treatment.

The most common sites for Acupuncture within this model are the head, ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet. It is suggested that you come to Community Acupuncture in comfortable clothes that can be easily manipulated, in order to provide easy access to these places.

Come to relax and unwind. Smooth tunes will be playing. Healing aromas will fill the room. Come enjoy collective zen.

Community Acupuncture is led by Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist, Dr. Naika Apeakorang, who also offers individual sessions at Heal Haus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
