Fullmoon Yin + Soundbath: Growing Through The Discomfort

March 1  |  7:30 – 9:30 PM  |  $30

We all have those moments in our life where we feel discomfort. Although we may just want to shut down or run, we need to recognize them to allow ourselves to grow through the discomfort. During this workshop we will focus on both our physical and spiritual being as we journal and move through yin postures. Yin gets deep into the body as we stay in the poses for a generous amount of time, which can result in period of wanting to escape. When in fact the discomfort is temporary. When we are ready to leave, that is the moment when the true healing occurs. While we stay in the discomfort together there will be the sound of crystal singing bowls that will vibrate through you and dig deep, loosening up tension, releasing discomfort, and making space for growth.

A sound bath is a relaxation technique and meditative experience where you will be bathed in the sound waves produced by chimes, tuning fork and crystal singing bowls. Sound baths create the space and conditions for healing to occur on many levels. The sound stimulates our circulation and immune system, cleanses our energy, and helps to release emotions stored in our body due to trauma. Sound also balances both hemispheres of our brain, promoting deep relaxation.
