Grounded Mindfulness Meditation

This class emphasizes using meditation as a tool to know oneself deeply; it’s a way of becoming familiar with all the contents of one’s lived experience and becoming aware of the relationship one has to those different contents. The class introduces mindfulness of the breath and uses the body as the main area of exploration, including noticing how the breath manifests in the body, thereby allowing the practitioner to remain anchored to the present moment. The classes offer structured guidance in addition to silent time to invite the practitioner to drop into the experience and release daily narratives. Each session will explore a new theme and relational perspective.
