This class emphasizes using meditation as a tool to know oneself deeply; it’s a way of becoming familiar with all the contents of one’s consciousness and becoming aware of the relationship one has to those different contents. The class introduces mindfulness of the breath and uses the body as the main area of exploration, including noticing how the breath manifests in the body, thereby allowing the individual to remain anchored to the present moment and cultivating a sense of internal stability.
