Danielle Goode, LMSW
Inspired and driven to help her clients help themselves arrive to healing and peace, Danielle draws on her skills and expertise from her trainings in Yoga and being a Full-Spectrum Doula. With over 10 years of experience, Danielle specializes in treating depression, anxiety, stress and early childhood trauma.
Utilizing movement, breathing exercises and writing + speaking of words are instrumental to her holistic practice, allowing her clients to not only feel grounded but empowered and heard. Danielle additionally, draws on the tools and practices of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and strength based approach. The skills she’s developed and honed within these sectors are paramount to the work that she does with both individuals and couples.
Danielle believes that everyone has a story worth being heard. While being transparent and honest; bringing humor, healing and compassion to the practice that allows her clients to feel unjudged, safe, encouraged and certain that they can grow – and that things don’t have to stay the same. She stands firm in her belief that all of her clients have more power than they are aware of and works effortlessly to ensure through the partnership created with them, that they too will come to see their inner strength.
Danielle has a particular interest and passion + experience working with individuals and couples who are in the perinatal stage. This work includes focusing on creating a plan that allows the expecting individual or couple to focus on the mental, emotional and physical health of the individual or couple.
