Marcus Christmas, LCSW

Marcus’s greatest reward as a therapist is seeing children, adolescents, families and individuals work through the areas of their lives that prevent them from walking in their fullest potential and overcoming obstacles to get to know themselves on a deeper level. Therapy is a personal journey that is empowering and healing. He works to structure sessions that are warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental. He incorporate clients in the process when developing goals based on their current struggles.

Marcus has had success assisting clients in building healthy relationships (peer and family); developing communication skills; responding to children and adolescents acting-out; managing anger, addictions, anxiety and depression; managing identity development, and assisting children and adolescents who are struggling academically.

Marcus is trauma informed and work with clients using a diverse approach to treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He helps people reach their goals to lead more productive, rewarding and balanced lives.
