She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Public Health, and completed her holistic nutrition studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Her journey as a naturopath began when faced with a life altering diagnosis as a young woman, and was advised that the condition was not reversible, but could only be managed by taking clinical medication for the rest of her life. Using her resources, she researched methods used to treat her condition successfully, and was introduced to naturopathic medicine. After successfully completing treatment, her lifestyle changed forever. Her passion for naturopathic healing grew and it was then that her journey as a holistic practitioner began.

Her joy is in introducing clients to alternative healing methods that work. It is her belief that both conventional medicine and naturopathic medicine, have a place in wellness, and she educates and encourages her clients to incorporate both in their healing process. Having treated a plethora of adverse health conditions and diseases including; diabetes, lupus, infertility, obesity etc., her area of specialty is in gastrointestinal disease (GI) and disorders. Michelle helps her clients manage disease using nutrition and herbal therapy, often with the support of other naturopathic healing modalities, and conventional medicine when necessary.
