Rebekah Ferguson, LMHC

Rebekah is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 11 years of experience, helping people suffering with clinical depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma related symptoms, religious identity conflicts, issues with self-esteem, and complex personal struggles related to racial and ethnic injustices. Rebekah has completed post graduate training in Online Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Linehan Institute, Behavioral Tech and has completed Attachment, Self- Regulation and Competency training through Juvenile Resource Institute. Rebekah has worked with clients ages 5- to end of life, and has worked in crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and justice involved settings. Rebekah’s goal is to help people understand their symptoms, and change their relationship to difficult emotional and physical experiences. Rebekah uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to help people respond to life’s hurdles in a skillful way, with the goal of working to identify factors and situations contributing to suffering and work towards gaining a sense of control and wellbeing.
